Elk Gang

What to you call a small herd of Elk -- you call them a 'Gang'.  I was driving around Grand Teton National Park looking during the fall and saw this small gang of elk feeding near a woodland meadow.  I was struck by how this small group every few minutes would stop eating and quickly check the security of their environment.  When you a look at this photo, every elk is looking in a different direction; thus, creating a 360 degree radius of security for the group.
